Dr. Candace Cooley

Graduating magna cum laude from Binghamton University, State University of New York, Candace Cooley, MD, earned a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry. Candace Cooley, MD, subsequently received her Doctor of Medicine at Albany Medical College in New York. At Albany Medical Center, she completed an internship and residency before fulfilling a second residency at Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children in Orlando, Florida. Currently serving as owner and President of OB/GYN Specialists in Fort Walton Beach, Florida, Dr. Candace Cooley possesses certification in the latest medical techniques, including cutting-edge office surgeries. At her practice, which consists of laboratories, state-of-the-art sonography, and spacious treatment rooms, Candace Cooley, MD, performs laser and laparoscopic surgery, incision-free tubal ligations, and heavy menstrual-cycle treatments. She also provides care for routine and high-risk pregnancies. In addition to offering routine gynecological care, Candace Cooley, MD, offers treatment for menstrual disorders, menopausal issues, and urinary incontinence. Dr. Cooley and her staff deliver as many as 30 babies a month and treats more than 200 patients weekly. In addition to her professional pursuits at OB/GYN Specialists, Candace Cooley, MD, wrote an article published in The Green Journal, also known as The American Journal of Medicine, on the success and risks of external cephalic version, a procedure to pregnant women. Candace Cooley, MD, has performed more than 100 surgeries in Third World countries and provides free prenatal care to pregnant teenagers. A devoted wife and mother, Candace Cooley, MD, takes pleasure in spending time with her children. She also enjoys outdoor activities, such as snow skiing, biking, and running.
