Dr. Carey Dachman

Well regarded for his exceptional treatment of patients with lower back pain Dr. Carey Dachman is an award-winning physician and pain specialist at Pain Therapy Associates in Schaumburg, Illinois. In his capacity as Medical Director, Dr. Carey Dachman draws on his extensive experience in rheumatology. Dr. Carey Dachman has been recognized by the National Committee for Quality Assurance with an award for excellence in the care of chronic back pain and has been named a Top Rheumatologist in the Chicago, Illinois, area by the review organization Castle Connolly Medical Ltd. An expert in his field, Dr. Carey Dachman is the only Chicago area rheumatologist recognized by the American Academy of Pain Management, the American Board of Internal Medicine, and the American College of Rheumatology. A devoted physician who believes in treating all patients like family members, Dr. Carey Dachman supports his community by accepting patients from the nonprofit organization Catholic Charities. With these and all his other patients, Dr. Carey Dachman believes in a holistic approach to medicine and pain reduction. Dr. Carey Dachman frequently employs both traditional and alternative approaches to medical care, alongside nutritional treatments, in order to reduce pain and manage arthritis. Dr. Carey Dachman received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Illinois at its Urbana-Champaign campus. Furthering his education, Dr. Carey Dachman subsequently received his Doctor of Medicine degree at the university?s Chicago campus. Dr. Carey Dachman held membership in the Phi Beta Kappa fraternity and earned a James Scholarship. In his free time, Dr. Carey Dachman enjoys reading, especially history, philosophy, and religion. He also holds a deep appreciation for the classic works of the Russian masters. In addition, Dr. Carey Dachman is a Master Mason.
