Dr. Carl Spivak

Focusing his energy on minimally invasive endoscopic spine surgery, Dr. Carl Spivak is a board-certified neurosurgeon at Executive Spine Surgery in Hackettstown, New Jersey. Using state-of-the-art procedures, Dr. Spivak can effectively treat conditions such as back pain, leg pain, numbness, stenosis, and herniated discs, among others. Carl Spivak, MD, uses advanced technologies such as endoscopic rhizotomy, endoscopic discectomy, and endoscopic fusion to treat his patients. He is one of only a few neurosurgeons in New Jersey who uses minimally invasive endoscopic spine surgery and therefore has unique insight and perspective on effective treatment modalities.

Along with his clinical practice, he lectures on endoscopic spine surgery around the United States and instructs on surgical techniques. He is a member of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, North American Spine Society, and the Society for Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery, and he is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons in Canada. Formally trained in medicine in Canada, Carl Spivak, MD, completed fellowships at Stanford University in complex spine and peripheral nerve surgery and at Semmes-Murphey Neurologic and Spine Institute in interventional pain management.
