Dr. Chris Brummer is a professor and the faculty director at the Institute of International Economic Law at Georgetown University Law Center.

Dr. Brummer is the founder of DC Fintech Week, a public policy conference on finance, technology, and policy. He is also a co-founder of the Fintech Beat podcast.

Dr. Brummer is the author of a number of publications, including his paper,"What do the data reveal about (the absence of Black) financial regulators?"

Dr. Brummer served as a member of the Biden-Harris Presidential Transition Team from October 2020 to January 2021, and has been a Fannie Mae director since February 2021.
