Dr. Christian Ford

Dr. Christian N. Ford, a graduate of the Boston University School of Medicine, spent two years as a plastic and reconstructive surgeon with Southcoast Hospitals Group in Dartmouth, Massachusetts. In this position, Dr. Christian Ford practiced a variety of plastic and reconstructive procedures, gaining particular experience in breast reconstruction surgeries and post-bariatric body contouring.

In addition to his plastic and reconstructive surgical work, Dr. Ford served the Charlton Memorial Hospital Wound Care Clinic as a wound care surgeon. He currently sees patients at Christian N. Ford, MD Cosmetic Surgery and Med Spa, PC, in Cohasset. In recognition of his work in areas of both surgical and nonsurgical cosmetic enhancements, he received the Vitals Patients’ Choice Award in 2013. Every month more than 200,000 patients across the U.S. provide feedback about their experiences with their physicians. They provide opinions and rate various components of care including bedside manner, doctor-patient face time, degree of follow-up, and courtesy of office staff. That's how the Patients' Choice Award recipients are selected. In fact, of the nation's 870,000 active doctors, only 5% were accorded this honor in 2013. He additionally received the Vitals Most Compassionate Doctor certificate of appreciation in 2013, a distinction awarded to only 3% of active physicians in the U.S. Patients also voiced their appreciation for the quality of care, treatment and service provided by Dr. Christian Ford by awarding him the Vitals Patients' Choice On-Time Doctor recognition in 2014.

Christian Ford, MD, is a member of the American Medical Association and the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. In addition to caring for his Cohasset-area patients, he dedicates a portion of his time to charitable and philanthropic purposes, such as the Tanzanian Children's Fund and the Hospital de la Familia in Guatemala.

His leisure interests include boating, running and hiking. In 2008, he completed the San Francisco Marathon.
