Colin Knight

I am a pediatric surgeon at HCA Florida Lawnwood Hospital in Fort Pierce, Florida, where I care for children from newborns through the teenage years. I am board certified and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and the American Academy of Pediatrics, and I hold faculty appointments at the Florida State University College of Medicine and the Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine at Florida International University.

Before moving to the Treasure Coast I practiced in Miami for many years, and I remain on staff at Nicklaus Children's Hospital and HCA Florida Kendall Hospital. Earlier in my career I served as a flight surgeon in the United States Air Force, an experience that still shapes how I think about safety in the operating room. I also review medical-legal cases through my consulting practice, Cool Kids Consulting LLC.

Away from the hospital I cook, travel, photograph, and spend as much time outdoors as Florida weather allows. You can find me at ped-surg.com.
