Hi, I'm Darren. I design innovative software, systems and algorithms to solve hard engineering problems and deliver great user experiences, from low-level packet processing to full stack web and mobile applications. My work has been featured at events like Mobile World Congress and Black Hat security conference, and is deployed in telecom networks worldwide. I'm the founder of Ottawa JavaScript, a vibrant tech community and meetup group. When I'm not building software, I enjoy being a dad, playing the piano, skiing, sailing and rock climbing.
