Native of Saint Louis, MO. Father of nine (9) children - of which four (4) are adopted, ages 27 to 49, grandfather of 23. An avid writer and author of several books, Dr Dave also was a university professor 1970-2015. His subjects included physics, mathematics, chemistry, astronomy, biology, micro-biology, anatomy & physiology, meteorology, and engineering. He has also taught Spanish and German. Over the years, Dr Dave has served as a college professor at California State University, Central Connecticut State University, Southern Utah University, Nova Southeastern University, Santa Monica College, Los Angeles Valley College, Broward College, College of Southern Nevada, Brown Mackie College, and Pima Community College. Dr Dave served as a college administrator for more than 20 years, and has been the First VP and COO of the International Planetarium Directors Congress since January 1, 2000. Dr Dave has bachelor’s degrees in physics, chemistry, astronomy, and math. His master’s degrees are in physics, geophysics, and astrophysics; he has a master of arts in the teaching of physics. His PhD is in Science Education. All his degrees were earned from UCLA. Dr Dave speaks 4 primary languages: French, English, Spanish and German. He also speaks 20 or so other, languages. Dr Dave and his wife reside in Tucson, Arizona.
