My series is a gripping, gritty urban fantasy series with plenty of action, steamy sex seasoned with humor and a soupcon of police procedural/noir.

I'm a veteran corporate instructional designer (I write training materials) and trainer. Finally, when I realized that my job was never going to supply enough creative stimulation for me, I decided against getting Ph.D. and started writing fiction seriously. I was born, raised and educated in Iowa, moved to Nebraska where I taught public school for 4 years, and then moved to St. Paul, MN and I've lived there ever since. I'm a confirmed cat person, but I love dogs too -- am just allergic to them.

My short marriage to a cop, black belt in Tae Kwon Do, and 30 years of writing professionally have made writing about DJ seem like breathing. It's an utter delight and major high, and I sincerely hope you check out DJ and her escapades.
