I have been involved in EFL since 1991 and have worked in both Dublin and Madrid, where I have been living since January 2000. I currently run my own academy in Las Rozas, a town 15km northwest of Madrid, which I started up in September 2004, where I am teacher, Director of Studies and General Manager. I have been a Cambridge ESOL Speaking Examiner since 2003 working for the Cambridge Schools Centre, Madrid. (ES383).

After completing my Diploma in Speech and Drama, I worked as an actor in Ireland for 3 years. During this time, I continued to work in EFL, principally in ELI on St. Stephen's Green in Dublin. Before leaving for Madrid in December 1999, I had started a Journalism course by distance with the London School of Journalism which then led to me being offered a weekly column in the online version of The Irish Times on Spanish football called "Inside La Liga" which I wrote from January/February - May 2000.

My background in Commerce, Speech & Drama and writing, as well as my vast professional experience, have, I believe, made me a very complete and skilled ESL teacher in particular and ESL professional in general.
