One Woman’s Tragedy Of Homelessness Offers Hope For Americans Through Financial Empowerment. Queen Charis offers optimism to Americans who have lost their jobs, homes; either found themselves homeless and hopeless through rebuilding lives across America. Who is Queen Charis? Queen Charis is a successful business woman who started her first company at the tender age of 24. Having amassed millions; as a leader in her then industry; she had nothing to show for it. It wasn't until after one grave business decision caused plummeted sales resulting in her nearly losing her company through eviction did Ms. Charis garner a healthy respect for the wealth creation process. Ms. Charis became what she has coined “The Working Homeless”. She aspires to develop programs for this growing overlooked population. In April 2007, Queen Charis became homeless with a teenage son, living from hotel to hotel, living out of rented cars, and drowning in debt. When her money continued to deplete; she ultimately had to live in her office space with all the amenities of a microwave oven, mini fridge and a company computer to watch movies after business hours. While facing eviction from the very office that was now her home; she continued to daily maintain clients; who were unaware that she and her teenage son were actually living there. Her son being frustrated and overwhelmed wound up leaving her to live with extended family members. Estranged from her son; she was left alone to ponder how did she get here; and what was she going to do to never see this dark period in her life again. The Turn Around In January 2008, she came to an agreement in court to save her company. Ms. Charis managed to turn her entire financial plight around; during the recession; while other businesses were failing. Ms. Charis survived 15 months of homelessness; coming to an end in July 2008; so she thought. January 2009; a promising year for Queen Charis had proven to be one of her most successful years to date. She was producing her own popular radio show, which had its debut premier; during the climate of change; when Barack Obama became the first African-American President of The United States. Her business was booming, while enjoying an amazing first season of her radio show and life was good for the rookie radio star. While preparing for her second season of her radio show; On August 20th, 2009; at the height of one of the most successful years of the 15 years she had been in business; Ms. Charis was p
