Vinay Kumar

Vinay Kumar is a development communication professional with over 8 years of experience in Media, Government, and Development sectors. He holds graduate and postgraduate degrees in Mass Communication and a specialized PG diploma in Advertising and Public Relations from the prestigious Indian Institute of Mass Communication, New Delhi. Additionally, he completed a certificate course in Health Journalism from UNICEF and Oxford University.

Vinay has contributed significantly to government initiatives, including the G-20 Summit, SCO Summit, National Nutrition Mission, and National Education Policy. As a Young Professional - Media in the office of the Minister of State for Education, he managed media content and press relations. His engagement with the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports involved media work for the Youth-20, a key component of the G-20 framework.

Vinay supported the implementation of the National Nutrition Mission in an aspirational district and led a successful World Record Attempt Mass Awareness Campaign against Malnutrition during the MahaKumbh-2019 working as District Lead with TATA Trusts. His short film won UNESCO Award and a docu-drama on nutrition produced by TATA Trusts and NITI Ayog.

Vinay has also been contributing to the Inclusion and Disability sector from facilitating trainings on Accessibility and Disability Sensitization to conducting access audits for premier educational institutes, government offices, police stations, and multinational companies. While Promoting RPwD Act & Accessible India Campaign, His broad expertise and commitment to creating inclusive and accessible communication make him a learned professional in this field.

He has previously worked with the National Health Systems Resource Centre, a premier Think Tank for the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Govt. of India, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, IDEA, and TATA Trusts.
