When DreamKid was a little boy growing up NYC, He would always have his big over-head headphones on listening to hit music by artists such as Michael Jackson to The Rolling Stones all the way to the hard knock anthem makers such as Jay-Z and Nas. Always fixated on composition and theory, it's no wonder this well-rounded little boy from a good Trinidadian family turned into the multi-talented producer and songwriter he is today: DreamKid "Music was always my intuition whether I felt Love or Hate Music always was my perception of a possible way to deal with my problems"
DreamKid, 22 who made a name for himself as a rapper back in Brooklyn,NY with a rap boy band which included rapper Finesse. The Song WSS (Wall Street Stunnaz) was the hit song that had everyone in the neighborhood going crazy. "I love music because it is the equalizer that everyone can agree on" As a young music producer DreamKid describes his production style as transparent. "I dont want the listener to be able to discern whether or not I was the record producer of a song because the music is about the artist and my job is to make sure the artist gets his or her message out to the listener and that to me is a much better satisfaction that just making an elaborate musical instrumental". Son.Noir long term goals are to work with artists worldwide and spread his music across all genres which may seem like a tough task but judging from someone who learned to play music theory by ear and self-learning it is not unimaginable.
DreamKid also a marketing BA student utilizes his knowledge of strategic planning and brand awareness and applies it to his artists in order to help them garner the spotlight they deserve. "To me this industry is not just about the music, some people forget this is also a business just like Walmart or Target and if you fail to plan then you are planning to fail". Son.Noir will continue to work hard to achieve his goals one day at a time and has this final message to everyone striving to achieve their goal. " Never give up even when the road seems so dark, After the rainstorm always comes the Sunlight.
