Dr. Efrain Gonzalez

Dr. Efrain Gonzalez obtained his medical degree in 1991 from the Universidad Central Del Caribe school of medicine after attending the Universidad del Sagrado Corazón in Puerto Rico and Hofstra University in New York. Today, Dr. Gonzalez is fluent in English and Spanish and is licensed to perform cosmetic surgery in Puerto Rico and California.

At the Advanced MedSpa Cosmetic Surgery Center in Rocklin, California, Dr. Efrain Gonzalez holds the titles of founder and medical director. A 15-year veteran of the field who has performed thousands of surgeries, he specializes in an array of techniques, including tummy tucks, liposuction, and breast reduction. Dr. Efrain Gonzalez provides these cosmetic services and others to his male and female patients, who ranked him among “California’s Favorite Physicians” in 2010.

Since 2000, Dr. Efrain Gonzalez has held the titles of President and CEO of Policlinicas de Ponce, an HMO-affiliated company that provides healthcare to over 15,000 people. He also devotes his professional time to teaching and spent two years as an Associate Professor at Ponce School of Medicine and Health Sciences. Since 2009, Dr. Efrain Gonzales has taught advanced techniques in facial rejuvenation at Saint Louis University School of Medicine and served as a Professor at the Guillermo Blugerman Body Contouring Workshop. Dr. Gonzalez also hosts a yearly workshop, teaching various surgical techniques to physicians from around the world.

At his home in Rocklin, California, Dr. Efrain Gonzalez spends his time away from work with his wife. A devoted father, he enjoys passing the hours with his children, whom he adopted from unfortunate circumstances in Africa, and attending their extracurricular activities.
