Drawing on a BS and MS in computer science, Drew Jarred Carrington is an end-user support technician at Atlanta Information Management. Since joining the firm in 2017, Drew Jarred Carrington has been responsible for maintaining an inventory of city computing resources and hardware installations, as well as other duties.
Before assuming the position, Mr. Carrington completed several internships, including one with the National Security Agency’s Computer & Information Sciences Research Group. While there, he designed and tested a scalable framework that helped optimize convolutional neural network hyperparameters, alongside other tasks.
In addition, Mr. Carrington served in a software development and QA engineering internship with the Intergraph Corporation, where he developed and maintained an automated system that executed batch tests using HP QuickTest Pro and Jenkins, as well as researched third-party photography libraries.
Outside of work, Mr. Carrington enjoys the Japanese language and its literature, alongside science fiction and fantasy. He also enjoys video games and is particularly fond of MMORPGs.
