Hi everyone. My name is Drew. I am an education professional from Los Angeles California. I started this page mostly so that my students can get to know me a little better. I am educator by profession, but I love to have fun with students.I like to skateboard, run, listen to music, and most importantly, make kombucha tea. Give me a chance and I am sure you will have fun with me.
I have been working with students since 2007. I graduated with a Bachelors Degree in History in 2012. I finished my Masters Degree in Education in January, 2016.
I taught business, medical, and conversational English in Tokyo in 2013. In 2014, I moved to beautiful Taiwan and now consider it to be my second home. I have since been teaching English to many age levels.
Most private teachers say that their specialty is teaching proper English pronunciation. While this is important, this usually just means that they don't know how to teach specific components of literacy. Pronunciation may not be easy to learn, but it is the easiest to teach.
I have studied how to teach reading, writing, and speaking. My specialty is vocabulary building and its application to writing, but I most enjoy teaching people how to speak colloquially or the way that people would normally speak with each other (and not in an English class). I can help you with any of your English language goals.
My price per lesson is anywhere from $600NT to $1100NT depending on the lesson. Please contact me for a detailed list of classes and the cost per lesson. I do offer a discount of $500NT off if 10 classes are purchased in advanced.
