After being a software developer for over 10 years, I have come to realize that there is a dramatic difference between the experience of consuming a product and that of developing it. Developing software in a way which is manageable, consistent, and predictable requires the wisdom of experience and the willingness to solve problems by understanding them.
Throughout my career, I have often felt called to discover better ways to accomplish things, and have stretched myself and my imagination in order to test that calling. I feel I have a lot of insight to contribute to the software industry and how it supports businesses and people.
I am now working as an entrepreneur to build a new web application to help small businesses. I utilize my problem-solving skills and brainstorm potential future enhancements in order to help my customers. It is very rewarding, and I plan to further my value-adding abilities as my company grows.
