Currently working as Senior Consultant Pulmonologist & Head of department of Pulmonology & Sleep Lab at Dow University Hospital, Karachi.

He is also serving as Director of HEC approved DTCD program at Dow University of health sciences.

Dr. Asad has more than 25 years of experience working at international tertiary care teaching hospitals.

He obtained fellowships in internal medicine from Pakistan and United Kingdom and Board certification in Pulmonology from United Kingdom.

Areas of his clinical interests include Asthma, COPD, Interstitial lung diseases, Pulmonary vascular diseases, Pulmonary infections, Chronic cough, Sleep disorders and performing diagnostic and therapeutic Bronchoscopies.

Dr. Asad has also extensive teaching and administrative experience besides being actively involved in a number of research projects
