Dr. Joshua Foxson

Naperville, IL

Dr. Foxson is originally from New York and currently practices Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery in Naperville, Illinois. He attended Hobart & William Smith Colleges in upstate New York and after completing his Masters in biology from Towson University in Maryland he was a researcher at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. He then began his career in Dentistry at New York University College of Dentistry where he was inducted into the OKU dental honor society. While at NYU he served on various committees including a student panel to interview and help select a new dean for the school. Additionally he participated in various research projects and presented his works at meetings. He participated in two separate mission trips to the Dominican Republic to provide care for the underserved. After graduation from dental school Dr. Foxson started his hospital residency training at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia. There he had various surgical and medical rotations including anesthesia, general surgery, plastic surgery, head and neck surgery, emergency medicine, and trauma surgery. During his final year he served as Chief Resident in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.

Dr. Foxson continues to attend lectures and meetings to provide his patients with the very best care possible. His wife Sara is a nurse practitioner and they have 2 beautiful daughters. He enjoys watching and playing sports, cooking, gardening, and spending time with his family.
