Dr. Gary Cecchi
Currently serving as a Managing Partner of Northern California Hematology and Oncology Medical Group (NCHOC), which he co-founded in 2004, Dr. Gary Cecchi possesses over 23 years of medical experience in the San Francisco Bay Area. With an accomplished team of medical practitioners, NCHOC specializes in blood disorders, cancers, and palliative care. NCHOC also performs supplemental services such as botanical therapy, acupuncture, integrative medicine, herbal therapy, and nutritional support. Dr. Gary Cecchi and his associates at NCHOC also contribute to medical research by performing clinical trials at Alta Bates Summit Comprehensive Cancer Center. Dr. Gary Cecchi and NCHOC affiliate with several local health care facilities, including Alameda Hospital, Alta Bates Hospital, Alameda County Medical Center, John Muir Medical Center, Summit Medical Center, Contra Costa County Medical Center, and Doctor’s Medical Center.
Dr. Gary Cecchi earned his board certification in hematology, oncology, and internal medicine. Dr. Gary Cecchi has served as Director for the Cancer and Infusion Services at Alameda Hospital, Director of the Lung Cancer and Lung Cancer Screening program at Alta Bates Summit Medical Center, and Medical Director of Hematology and Medical Oncology at Alta Bates Summit Medical Center. Additionally, he currently acts as a Medical Examiner for Federal Aviation Administration. Dr. Gary Cecchi holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Science from Boston College and earned his Doctor of Medicine from the Tufts University School of Medicine. He also received advanced and fellowship training at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, and City of Hope in Duarte, California.
