Dr. Gerald Striph was born in Detroit, Michigan. After attending college at the University of North Carolina, he received his medical degree from Wayne State University in Detroit. Dr. Striph completed his Residency at Washington University, St. Louis, and went on to complete his fellowship training at Johns Hopkins University.
Dr. Striph is primarily focused on Neuro-ophthalmology, cataract surgery and general ophthalmology, BOTOX therapy, and eye movement disorders. He was also the past Director of Ophthalmology at Toledo Hospital.
Dr. Striph provides comprehensive ophthalmology care, from routine eye examination to no-stitch cataract surgery, at Vision Associates. He subspecializes in neurologic diseases of the eye and visual system and works regularly with area neurologists and neurosurgeons. Neuro-ophthalmologists help patients with conditions like double vision, unexplained vision loss, and visual loss related to diseases affecting the brain and nervous system.
