Hasanah Abd Khafidz

Dr. Hasanah binti Abd. Khafidz is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Da’wah and Leadership Studies, Faculty of Islamic Studies, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia since December 2015 until now. Prior to that he was Senior Lecturer at the Pusat Citra Universiti, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, from July 2013 to November 2015. He also served as a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Islamic Studies, School of Humanities, Universiti Sains Malaysia, Penang, from August 2006 to June 2013. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (Sharia and Islamic Studies) from the University of Mu'tah, Jordan (1997), then obtained a Master in Fiqh and Usul Fiqh from International Islamic University Malaysia (2000). Subsequently, he obtained a PhD from the University of Malaya in 2006. Her area of specialization is obligatory according to the focus of his research and writing that is about charity. She is also very active in e-learning and a winner at Anugerah e-Pembelajaran 2015 (creative and interactive e-learning videos category). Despite her busy life as a working mom, she also loves doing embroidery and getting serious with it.
