Dr. Henri Duyzend

Since his retirement from active dental practice in 2007, Dr. Henri Duyzend has enjoyed diverse hobbies and pursuits, including travel, cuisine, and reading. He travels to see his family and spend time with them, a pursuit that takes him to the American Midwest as well as Europe. While he does not play any team sports, he does play Frisbee occasionally with his younger son. Dr. Henri Duyzend also enjoys exercise and favors several outdoor activities, including skiing, snowshoeing, and hiking. He reads historical fiction and biographies in his spare time, with James Michener being a favorite author.

When his children were younger, Dr. Henri Duyzend was involved with the Boy Scouts of America, helping his sons to earn their Eagle Scout ranks. He was an assistant scout master and enjoyed the opportunity to attend scout outings and meetings. Duyzend also keeps his mind active with a variety of mental hobbies and tasks, including crossword puzzles, opera, and learning about new cultures and languages.
