Hello, I'm Matt.

I work with young people, most who have been expelled or excluded from mainstream school, if they go at all. I teach them how to make video games in groups, which helps them understand the need for communication, compromise and collaboration, as well as the necessity of reading and math. I teach other creative skills too, art, sculpture, video, animation, web design.

Recently, things have got a little more interesting and I have started to work with a group of autistic children... well they're a little younger than my usual crowd and they're amazingly talented.

I'm also doing OAP Club - Older And Playing it's aimed at anyone who is interested in making games or apps. Who may spend their day times working other jobs or maybe retired but are keen enough to come a long and learn how to make, plan or pitch other ideas.

I'm amazed I'm still doing all of these things but I think everything above this line was written twenty years ago. I have now got formal teaching qualifications and a PGCE in Autism and Asperger's and I'm adding eSports to my repitoire.
