Dr. Jahmal Mosley has dedicated over twenty years to various educational leadership roles, including special education teacher, administrator, and director of academics. He is a certified Special Education Administrator specializing in developing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students with a wide range of challenges, such as intellectual, emotional, and physical impairments.

Dr. Jahmal obtained his Doctorate in Education from the University of Massachusetts, which is recognized for its high-caliber academic programs and research. His doctoral dissertation, "Perceptions of Principal Attributes in an Era of Accountability," was published in the Journal of School Leadership and presented at the American Educational Research Association Conference.

He champions educational equity, promoting programs that ensure all students can achieve their fullest academic and social potential regardless of background. Dr. Jahmal completed his Bachelor of Arts at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst in 1997, majoring in African-American History and Psychology. This deepened his understanding of the socio-environmental factors influencing student behavior and learning.

He earned his Master's Degree in Education from Wheelock College in Boston in 1998, focusing on Special Needs/Elementary and Middle School Education. This education solidified his passion for impactful administrative roles. In 2010, Dr. Jahmal Mosley furthered his expertise by earning a Doctorate with a concentration in Education Administration, Policy, and Research.

Dr. Jahmal also has international experience, having studied educational systems at Harvard University and researched educational reforms in China. This research helped him understand the direct impact of systemic educational improvements on student achievement.
As a licensed Special Education Director, Dr. Mosley actively contributes to the NextGen Project, which uses technology to assist students in overcoming educational barriers. He also mentors emerging exceptional education leaders and shares his insights on innovative learning strategies through numerous presentations.
