Dr Jai N Gupta

A longtime executive in the aerospace and defense industries, Dr. Jai N. Gupta served as the president of the government services group at L-3 Communications, a contractor in the defense industry. In this role, he held responsibility for five subsidiary companies and successfully spearheaded initiatives that achieved $800 million in annual revenue. Additionally, Dr. Jai N. Gupta oversaw the integration processes of senior employees as the firm acquired various corporations.

Prior to his role at L-3 Communications, Jai N. Gupta directed business operations at EER Systems, which he founded in 1979. Until selling the company in 2001, he maintained steady growth through the development of aerospace technologies such as night vision. In preparation for his career, Jai N Gupta completed a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and microwave communications at the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi. He later received an MS in electrical engineering from Queens University in Canada. Furthering his education, he earned a PhD with emphases in electrical engineering and mathematical statistics at Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana.
