A valued voice in the field of music education, Dr. Jane Andrews maintains affiliations with a number of professional organizations and associations. These include the American Choral Directors Association, the National Association for Music Education, and the Jazz Education Network. From 2001 to 2013, Dr. Jane Andrews expressed her musical and pedagogical aptitude as a professor of music with Wartburg College of Waverly, Illinois. She held seats on the Artists Series Committee and the Commission on Mission Committee for Wartburg College as well. As a testament to the quality of her endeavors, she has earned a number of awards and commendations throughout the course of her career. Among others, she was invited to participate in the Carnegie Hall Vocal Jazz Concert and served as the president of the Choristers Guild in conjunction with the Kansas City CITI Arts Board.

In her spare time, Dr. Andrews enjoys pursuing a broad range of hobbies and interests, including attending musicals and opera, swimming, cooking, and experiencing the outdoors via hiking and biking. An avid international traveler, she has visited countries such as Germany, Jamaica, Brazil, and Mexico.
