Jeff is Compassion Canada's Ministry Relations Regional Manager for northern Alberta. Compassion Canada partners with the church here in Canada and local churches in 25 countries to release children from poverty in Jesus' name.
While his background ranges from a PhD in English (focusing on the intellectual history of sympathy in nineteenth-century literature) to providing project management, communications, and decision support for major municipal engineering projects, Jeff's heart is all about seeing the church discover what it means to be the church and for Christians to understand the difference following Jesus can make in their everyday lives.
He's dad to six kids and husband to Ruth, ninja-mom and homeschool teacher extraordinaire.
