Dr. Jill Will

Jill Williams, Ph.D. earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from her beloved alma mater Howard University where she was provided with a strong foundation in science, engineering and analytical skills. Dr. Jill has done research focused on the mechanisms of Sickle Cell Disease and more recently the mechanisms of stroke brain injury and protection mechanisms of omega 3 fatty acids. This research was Dr. Jill's dissertation work for her Doctoral degree in Nutritional and Metabolic Biology from Columbia University.

Dr. Jill maintains a healthy work life balance with involvement in several community service activities, youth mentoring, yoga and dance.

This is a working partnership of health care professionals and consumers whose mission is to educate the public and policy-makers on women's health and empower women to make informed health choices.
