I am a full-time board certified ob/gyn in private practice and the immediate past Chief of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Baptist Hospital in Miami, Florida. I am the Medical Director at FemCare Ob-Gyn and I serve as the Vice President of the Executive Medical Staff at Baptist Hospital. I am also the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) of MomsWell, a web-based platform for perinatal depression screening and education (getmoswell.com). I specialize in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, including robotic surgery with the da Vinci robot, and in-office gynecologic procedures. I have expertise in, and speak nationally about: elective early-term deliveries (through the March of Dimes), reducing the Cesarean section rate (through the Florida Perinatal Quality Collaborative), umbilical cord blood banking (through Cord Blood Registry), postpartum depression (through Sage Therapeutics), minimally invasive gynecology, “and contraceptive technology. I have extensive experience as an expert medical witness in all matters related to obstetrics and gynecology, having been deposed and testified numerous times for both plaintiff and defendant. I am also a Certified Reform Mohel and perform religious circumcision (brit milah) throughout South Florida. I live in Miami, Florida with my amazing wife and three incredible kids.
