John Mercer

Dr. John Mercer is the owner and a physician at Rocky Mountain Women's Health Center. A Complete resource for women's health. We Provide services in the areas of obstetrics, gynecology, urogynecology, infertility, primary care, bariatrics/medical weight loss, and aesthetics.

I have been in private practice for 12 years and have managed two practices. Since joining my current practice we have doubled our practice revenue, opened a second location, and added numerous in house procedures. I am currently pursuing a health care MBA at George Washington University and am interested in developing a physican/surgeon managed, mid-level provider run health care delivery organization. With advances in IT and with the ACO/patient home concept all but inevitable, I believe this model has the potential to provide cost efficient care utilizing measurable indices of quality and satisfaction and can be very competitive in competing for contracts with hospitals/ACOs/payors.
