Dr Jose Nunes

Hey there, I’m Dr Jose. I’m a Dentist living in Perth, Australia.It has always been my dream to become a dental implant specialist. I completed my undergraduate studies at the University of the Witwatersrand. After attaining a Bachelor of Dental Science degree in 1993, I spent two years working in Johannesburg and London. In 1995 it was time for another adventure –and I became the supervisor in the department of Oral and Maxillo Facial Surgery while continuing with my studies. I have always enjoyed sharing my knowledge with others who are passionate about dentistry and had the opportunity to do so as a tutor at the Department of Oral Surgery.

In 1999 I made the decision pursue a career in Dental Implant Placements and in 2008 I received my post graduate Diploma in Dentistry, specialising in dental implant placements, from the University of the Western Cape. I am currently completing my master MSc in oral implantology at Frankfurt. I keep continuously busy with Continuing Professional Development(CPD) to ensure that my knowledge and skills are as relevant as possible so that I can perform any surgery expected from a dental implant specialist.
