Dr. Joshua Renken

Dr. Joshua Renken is the founder and owner of Renken Dentistry. Established in 2003 the practice is based in Springfield, Illinois. Dr Renken has dedicated his career to not only his role as a dentist, but also as an entrepreneur who aims to help others reach their full potential. After graduating from Eastern Illinois University in 1998, Dr. Renken pursued his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the College of Dentistry at the University of Chicago . After several years of operating Renken Dentistry as a company that not only focuses on treatment, but on creating long-lasting client relationships, Dr. Joshua Renken branched out to several different endeavors over the years.

In 2003, Dr. Renken ventured into real estate and property management through Renken Properties. In recent years, apart from establishing a second dental practice, Schön Dental in Springfield, Dr. Joshua Renken founded fyv LLC and PracticeWater, two service network companies which, in their own ways, work to promote productivity and organization in small businesses and practices. fyv LLC helps small companies tackle daily operations by creating and easy and accessible platform for management without incurring outrageous costs. PracticeWater, on the other hand, helps with strategizing and budgeting so that practices don’t have to seek out corporate takeover as their practice grows.

In February, 2015, Dr. Joshua Renken published his first book, Dr. Fries-With-That, a guide to understanding, accepting and finally, overcoming, the fears of choosing a career path. He is currently the Chairman of the Board of Directors of The Hope Institute for Children and Families, the President of GV Black District Dental Society, an active member of the Chicago Dental Society, Illinois State Dental Society, Academy of General Dentistry and a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI).
