Dr. Kadisha Rapp

Be Healthy. Be Safe. Be Successful.

These are the values of Dr. Kadisha Rapp. Born in Washington D.C., Dr. Kadisha began her 15 year career in medicine because of her catholic school upbringing. While in school she adapted the mentality that if you go through life helping no one, what use were you to anyone? Choosing to help people by gaining knowledge about the human body and helping those who have issues with it, she decided to go into the field of medicine earning a B.A. from The John Hopkins University, a M.D. from the University of Maryland’s School of Medicine, received ER training and completed her residency at the Howard University Hospital's Department of Emergency Medicine and also a fellowship in Sports Medicine at Allegheny General Hospital dept of orthopedics physicians for the Pittsburgh Pirates. After being on the faculty at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia and practicing Emergency Medicine in both urban and suburbans ER's on the east coast, Dr. Kadisha decided to relocate to Houston, TX where she almost immediately began providing care for people that work in a field where health is often neglected due to scheduling and many other career related factors- the entertainment industry. Dr. Kadisha saw a drastic need for reliable, confidential and convenient healthcare which resulted in her starting her own Concierge Doctor Service, perfect for the successful and subsequently busy professional.

Derivative of a close-nit relationship with her mom, family and friends, Dr. Kadisha has a heart for people and their wellbeing, choosing to make herself available when her patients need her the most. Uniquely, Dr. Kadisha believes in prevention first to help her patients stay in a healthy place without the assistance of medicine. She opts to educate them as opposed to giving them a quick diagnosis and prescription stating, “I make sure I tell my patients of ways they can treat what ails them without medication whenever I can.” Citing Oprah Winfrey and Dr. Ian as kindred-spirited inspirations, she decided to utilize her education, ER and private clientele experiences, her social platform and passion for inspiring people through health education to speak to global audiences including The Houston Area Urban League’s Young Professional University, The Black Leadership Summit, Pharrell Williams’ Kidult Youth Leadership Conference, a Medical Mission trip to Africa speaking on HIV, and more.
