Dr. Kamlesh Dave
Founder and Medical Director in New Castle, Kentucky
Dr. Kamlesh Dave has a long history of providing much-needed medical services to the people of Kentucky. He stands out as the founder of First Stop Urgent Care, a four-office practice now owned by a pair of Kentucky hospitals. Dr. Kamlesh Dave also holds distinction as the founder of First You Medical Center, a family medicine practice whose two offices he currently leads as their medical director.
Before beginning his career, Dr. Kamlesh Dave earned an MBBS and MD from B.J. Medical College in Ahmedabad, India. He subsequently completed an OB/GYN residency at the B.J. Medical College-affiliated Civil Hospital before undertaking additional OB/GYN residencies at Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai and Birmingham Women’s Hospital in England. Following his residency in England, Dr. Dave relocated to the United States. There, he fulfilled the obligations of family practice residency at the University of Louisville.
Dr. Kamlesh Dave’s professional accomplishments include earning board certification in family practice and coauthoring a published article on disorders of puberty. Active in his field, he belongs to the American Academy of Family Physicians, the Kentucky Medical Association, and the Greater Louisville Medical Society.
