Dr. Kieran Slevin

Dr. Slevin's tenure as an Assistant Professor allowed him to hone his leadership skills. He was elected to the Penn Senate Faculty Executive Committee and the University Council, where he collaborated with senior university leaders. His involvement in these committees allowed him to advise the university's Provost and President on various critical matters. These included faculty intellectual property ownership, environmental sustainability initiatives on the Penn campus in West Philadelphia, and navigating the university endowment during the challenging financial crisis of 2008. Dr. Kieran Slevin plays a pivotal role in North American Spine and Pain, a healthcare organization he co-founded in 2014. With a team of over 120 dedicated professionals spanning three states, they provide specialized care to more than 150,000 patients annually. Focusing on conditions such as degenerative and herniated discs, extremity pain, nerve injuries, osteoarthritis, sciatica, spinal stenosis, sports-related trauma, sprains, strains, and tendinitis, the team strives to establish the gold standard of care in Pennsylvania and the surrounding areas.

Dr. Slevin's expertise has been recognized by the Spine Intervention Society, where he served as the appointed American Medical Association delegate and sat on the board of directors.
