Dr. Kimberly Wirths

A patient-oriented family medical practitioner with years of experience in treating women and children, Dr. Kimberly Wirths presently serves on the staff at Geary Community Hospital in Junction City, Kansas. Dr. Wirths, the recipient of an MD from the University of Missouri – Kansas City School of Medicine, also worked as a doctor for Kansas University Physicians. At Geary Community, she provides care to patients of all ages, from newborns to the elderly. In treating such a diverse population, Dr. Kimberly Wirths maintains expertise in a variety of medical issues ranging from heart disease to skin conditions.

Dr. Kimberly Wirths possesses certification with the Board of American Family Medicine and serves as a fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians, a designation awarded to only to the most experienced practitioners. After earning her doctor of medicine in 1989, Dr. Wirths practiced in a clinical setting in Missouri for several years. From 1995 to 2009, she operated a private practice in Overland Park, Kansas.

During her free time, Dr. Kimberly Wirths enjoys traveling to the Caribbean islands and visiting with family in Florida. She also likes to cook and enjoys baking gingerbread cookies during the holidays.
