Dr. Kimsey Anderson

Dr. Kimsey Anderson serves the Albuquerque, New Mexico, community with quality orthodontic care for teeth straightening for adults and children. Serving the areas of Santa Fe, Las Lunas, and surrounds, Dr. Anderson heads the day-to-day activities of her private orthodontic practice and treats patients with Invisalign or other orthodontic treatments. She graduated from The Ohio State University College of Dentistry cum laude and contributed as a commissioned Officer in the United States Air Force.
Serving as a dentist during her military tour, Dr. Kimsey Anderson treated U.S. Air Force personnel and their families during a 12-year tenure and was named the Company Grade Officer of the Quarter in September 1990. While stationed at Kirtland Air Force Base, she was selected to undertake training at the University of Pennsylvania to complete an Orthodontic Specialty Certificate, as well as a Master of Science in Oral Biology. She later became Chairman of the Department of Orthodontics at the Wright-Patterson Medical Center, where she devoted time to teaching resident dentists orthodontic techniques.
While at Wright-Patterson Medical Center, she was the Director of the Dentofacial Deformities Board and served as a member of the Craniofacial Board. After completing her military tour, Dr. Kimsey Anderson began her private orthodontic career in a partnership. In 2008, she formed her own practice named Anderson Orthodontics, PC.
Focusing on quality dental care for her patients, Dr. Anderson also commits time to the New Mexico community in several ways. A mentor for girls interested in pursuing a dental career, she also aids Girl Scouts in the attainment of their health badges. A former member of the Dental Steering Committee for the Southwestern Indian Polytechnic Institute, she served for several years as a state science fair Judge. Dr. Kimsey Anderson continues to encourage young people in the pursuit of their future career goals and provides students opportunities to shadow her at work.
