Dr. Lamont Tyler’s formal higher education began at Loyola University - Chicago where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology. He furthered his education at medical school, attending Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine where he was awarded his D.O. in 1986.
Certified by the American Academy of Family Medicine and the American Academy of Urgent Care Medicine, Dr. Lamont Tyler received nominations for Illinois Family Physician of the Year in 1990 and 1991. He is also a member of the Illinois Academy of Family Medicine.
