I am a open-minded woman with a purpose. I am a mother, sister, partner, friend, social change activist, feminist, traveler, fundraiser, consultant, trainer, and late-bloomer. I have dedicated most of my professional and volunteer life in the pursuit of creating caring, supportive and inclusive relationships and communities. I graduated with a doctorate in Leadership for the Advancement of Learning and Service from Cardinal Stritch University in Milwaukee, WI in August, 2012. I wrote my dissertation on “The Self-care Perceptions and Practices of Contemporary Black Women Leaders?"
