Dr. Lindsay Brathwaite

A highly regarded dermatologist with 15 years of experience in his field, Lindsay Brathwaite, M.D., is currently the sole physician at The Center For Dermatology (CFD), an independent practice with offices in Ocean City and Dover, Delaware. Dr. Brathwaite formed CFD in 2005 with the goal of offering his patients an extensive array of treatment options for common skin abnormalities as well as serious dermal conditions and immune syndromes. As his roster of clients continues to increase in number, Lindsay Brathwaite, M.D., channels resources to ensure that his staff receives training in all aspects of work including patient relations, sanitization, and processing of medical records. By emphasizing the importance of establishing personal relationships with CFD patients, Dr. Brathwaite has earned recognition as one of the leading dermatological specialists in Delaware.

In addition to treating inflammatory skin issues, skin cancers, abnormal pigmentation, blistering skin diseases, and immunological illnesses, Lindsay Brathwaite, M.D., provides therapeutic solutions for scalp, hair, and nail disorders. Board certified in dermatology, clinical and laboratory dermatological immunology, and dermatopathology, he recently undertook and successfully completed a recertification process for dermatology in 2011.

Lindsay Brathwaite, M.D., embarked on his career in dermatology after obtaining his doctoral degree from Howard University’s College of Medicine in 1994. He completed his residency at Howard University Hospital, serving as Chief Resident from July 1998 to June 1999. He then accepted a fellowship at The Johns Hopkins University and allied institutions in Baltimore, Maryland, honing his knowledge of dermatopathology over the course of a year. Prior to opening The Center for Dermatology, he spent a year studying clinical and laboratory dermatological immunology through a second fellowship at The Johns Hopkins University.
