A longtime spine surgeon, Dr. Luis Lombardi has performed numerous non-traumatic spinal surgeries. His areas of focus include lower back pain, leg pain, herniated disc, sciatica and spinal stenosis. Dr. Luis Lombardi also has extensive experience mapping and analyzing spinal structures and performing lumbar pain management treatments.
Dr. Luis Lombardi attended medical school at Rosario National University in Argentina and completed his orthopedic surgery residency at the institution’s Centenario Provincial Hospital. Following a year as chief resident of orthopedic surgery at the hospital and two years in private practice, he transitioned into a residency at Conemaugh Valley Memorial Hospital in Johnstown, Pennsylvania.
Dr. Lombardi maintains certification as an orthopedic surgeon in Argentina, and he holds licenses to practice in California. His past experience in California includes guiding the Medicis Medical Center in Van Nuys as medical director. He presently teaches spinal endoscopic advanced techniques that go beyond current “minimally invasive” standards and enhance the patient experience and recovery time.
