Dr. Gafanovich received her undergrad degree from NYU and went on to receive her medical degree from world-class Sackler School of Medicine in 2002. Completing her residency in internal medicine at North Shore University Hospital, Dr. Gafanovich went on to impress the medical staff enough to be offered the position as Hospital Care Attending Physician when she completed her residency. Several years later, she found herself invited to join a private practice in New York.

In May 2008, she took sole responsibility for the practice.Dedicated to the same superb care that her predecessors gave their patients, Dr. Gafanovich's practice was founded in 1961 by Dr. Eric Cassell. Dr. Cassell was prominent in New York City for over 40-years and was known for his medical expertise and patient care.
