Dr. Marin Bautista

Florida-based physician Dr. Marin Bautista presides over The Family Doctors of Buena Ventura, P.A., in Kissimmee, Florida, where he currently offers checkups, minor surgeries, and other services to adults and children beginning at age 10. Dr. Marin Bautista ensures financial profitability and makes strategic decisions regarding recruitment and business direction for the practice. Since taking over in 1995, he has grown The Family Doctors of Buena Ventura, P.A., considerably. In addition, Dr. Marin Bautista has offered in-office treatment for many complex conditions that typically require hospitalization, including diabetic ketoacidosis, pneumonia, and diverticulitis.

Before joining The Family Doctors of Buena Ventura P.A., Dr. Marin Bautista practiced medicine at the Walk-In Clinic of Kissimmee Memorial Hospital, where he worked from 1992 to 1995. Committed to providing comprehensive care, he addressed symptoms and made diagnoses by taking into account individuals' physical, social, and psychological needs. As a result, many of his patients did not require hospitalization. His other duties included handling particularly challenging cases and visiting assisted-living facilities to attend to his elderly patients.

Dr. Marin Bautista holds a Bachelor's degree in Zoology from Rutgers University's Newark College of Arts and Sciences. He studied for his medical degree at two institutions of higher education in the Dominican Republic, graduating with his MD from the Universidad Tecnológica de Santiago in 1984. He completed an internship at Mayaguez Medical Center in Puerto Rico and fulfilled his residency requirements in the Family Practice and Urban Family Health Program at Bronx-Lebanon Hospital Center in New York. Dr. Bautista remains a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians.
