Dr. Mario Tarquino began his post-secondary education at California State University, Northridge, where he earned a BA in biology. Distinguishing himself, he was admitted to Harvard Medical School where he received his MD. He went on to complete an internship at the Brooklyn Hospital Medical Center and then a residency in anesthesiology at the New England Medical Center of the Tufts University School of Medicine. Completing his residency, Dr. Mario Tarquino moved back to California to continue his training at the Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles where he was a fellow of pediatric anesthesia.

After completing the fellowship, Dr. Mario Tarquino served as a staff anesthesiologist at Buena Vista Anesthesia Medical Group in Burbank as well as at Anesthesia Service Medical Group in San Diego before moving to Nevada. Since 2005, he has worked as a physician and president of Integrated Pain Specialists, a Las Vegas-based healthcare provider focused on pain management. Concurrently to this position, he is a staff physician at the University Medical Center in Las Vegas where he provides pediatric anesthesiology services.
