Dr Mark H Dean

With nearly 18 years’ experience in the field of osteopathic medicine, Dr. Mark H. Dean leads the practice he founded in 2002 with a level of experience few can match. He is presently the medical director of Pain Management Associates, a Charlottesville, Virginia-based clinic offering interventional pain management for spinal injuries, spine pain, and headaches. Dr. Mark H. Dean furthermore serves as the medical director of Charlottesville Surgical Center and lectures at various seminars.

To prepare for his career, Dr. Mark H. Dean studied Biological Sciences at Rutgers University, earning a bachelor’s degree in 1990. He received his doctoral degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey School of Osteopathic Medicine in 1995. He went on to complete a one-year internship at Case Western Reserve University in Ohio, followed by a three-year residency at Sun Coast Hospital at Nova Southeastern University in Largo, Florida.
