Dr. Mark Leondires

A board-certified specialist in reproductive endocrinology and infertility and obstetrics and gynecology, Dr. Mark Leondires has managed Assisted Reproductive Technologies (ART) for the Walter Reed Army Medical Center, part of the Combined Federal Fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology. Dr. Leondires currently acts as Medical Director and lead doctor at Reproductive Medicine Associates of Connecticut (RMACT), an association of infertility doctors and clinics throughout Connecticut and New York.
Under Dr. Mark Leondires, RMACT has produced high success rates with its infertility solutions while minimizing risk to mothers and infants. He also achieved marked success when directing the ART programs at several renowned facilities, bringing the Combined Federal Fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology's program into the top 10 percent nationwide.
Dr. Mark Leondires has also contributed his talents to the academic side of infertility and reproductive science. He has served as an Assistant Professor at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Bethesda, Maryland, and as a Clinical Faculty member for the Combined Federal Fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology. Dr. Leondires has authored a number of papers and book chapters on a range of reproductive subjects, including IVF, reduction in higher-order multiple gestations, and endometriosis. His efforts in academia and as a practicing physician earned him recognition in the peer-reviewed Best Doctors in America for 2011-2012.
Dr. Mark Leondires completed his undergraduate studies at Colby College in Waterville, Maine, where he double majored in biochemistry and history. He then pursued his MD at The University of Vermont College of Medicine in Burlington. Following receipt of his Doctor of Medicine, Dr. Leondires completed his obstetrics and gynecology residency and a reproductive endocrinology fellowship.
When not working, Dr. Mark Leondires enjoys reading nonfiction works by authors such as Carl Sagan and Daniel Boorstin. He also contributes to a number of nonprofit organizations, humanitarian aid charities, and other programs beneficial to the community.
