Dr. Marr
St. Thomas, ON
After 8 years as a competitive figure skater and 15 years as a runner, I have had my fair share of injuries. As a varsity athlete while studying Kinesiology at Wilfrid Laurier University, it was my Chiropractor who kept me injury free and focused, whether it be anything from shin splints, nerve entrapment, headaches from my studies or general low back pain, she helped me deal with my symptoms from any nerve, muscle, or joint related pain. I always left the office feeling amazing, knowing I would get the most out of my next practice/workout.
This lead me to continue my studies to become a Doctor of Chiropractic, obtaining my degree from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto. I furthered my education by obtaining my certificate in Contemporary Medical Acupuncture from McMaster University and have been certified as an ART® (Active Release Techniques) provider.
I can generally treat/help relieve symptoms from any condition related to the muscles/soft tissues, joint, and/or nerves. A typical treatment may include soft tissue therapy (ART), medical acupuncture, adjustments, Ultrasound, Laser Therapy, Electro Therapies, and always stretches and exercises that will prevent the injury from recurring in the future.
I practice out of the Dr.Marr Pain Relief Clinic in my hometown of St. Thomas, ON and provide on-site care to many private groups throughout the London to Golden Horseshoe area.
I am currently a professional member of the College of Chiropractors of Ontario, Ontario Chiropractic Association and the Canadian Chiropractic Association.
