Dr. Maryam Pearose

Recognized as one of Orange County's Top Dentists two years consecutively by Coast Magazine, Dr. Maryam Pearose has spent more than a decade establishing herself as a leader in the field of pediatric dentistry. To prepare for her career, Dr. Pearose served variously as a general dental assistant, a clinical resident, and a clinical instructor, gaining expertise in craniofacial disorders, orthodontics, oral surgery, and infant oral health, among many other branches. She currently functions as Pediatric Dentist at her practice, Maryam M. Pearose, DDS, Inc., which she founded in 2011. Along with her extensive practical experience, she possesses an impressive academic background.

Most recently, Maryam Pearose, DDS, obtained her Pediatric Dental Specialty Certificate, which was conferred in 2005 by the State University of New York at Buffalo, where she also completed her residency in pediatric dentistry. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) in 2003 from the University of California, San Francisco, during which time Dr. Pearose was honored with the AAPD/ASDC Certificate of Merit Predoctoral Student Award for the promise she showed in the field of pediatric dentistry. She undertook her undergraduate studies at the University of California, Irvine, where she graduated in 1998 with a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences, maintaining dean's list status throughout. As an undergraduate student, she served as a member of the Golden Key National Honor Society and the national pre-health honor society Alpha Epsilon Delta.

In a philanthropic capacity, Dr. Maryam Pearose has volunteered in dental clinics to provide pediatric screenings and care for people suffering from homelessness and for single mothers. She also regularly participates and donates to various charity organizations, such as Miles for Smiles.
