Dr. Joan McGettigan is an academic and instructional leader who builds coherent curriculum, assessment, and professional learning systems that strengthen teaching and improve student outcomes. She currently serves as Director of Educational Technology at The Windward School, partnering with faculty and school leaders to align learning goals, modernize instructional practice, and make smart, research-informed decisions about technology and AI. She holds graduate degrees from Columbia University and Tulane University, and an Ed.D. in Instructional Leadership from Western Connecticut State University. An Apple Distinguished Educator and ISTE Community Leader, she presents nationally and works with schools to translate strategy into day-to-day classroom practice.
